Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do
Yellow Brick Road Dog Rescue is a volunteer organization, which means every hour of your time contributes directly to helping save homeless dogs. From rescuing, transporting, and fundraising, we absolutely couldn’t do it all without the support of our amazing volunteers. We’re so grateful for your interest in joining our team. Together we can save lives!
How you can get involved
VOLUNTEER AT AN EVENT
YBR Dog Rescue hosts and participates in small and large events around the Charlotte, NC region. We always need volunteers to help transport and walk dogs, set up and tear down, talk to potential adopters, etc. Check out our events calendar to see what’s coming next.
TRANSPORTATION
We always need help picking up dogs from rural shelters and bringing them to their foster home or helping to transport dogs up to northern rescues.
MARKETING AND FUNDRAISING
We need volunteers skilled in the following areas: fundraising, marketing, social media, graphic design, web development, accounting, and legal.
